TERMS OF USE

TablePred is a free, season-long football table prediction game. You create or join a private group (a “Huddle”), predict the final league table order before the season starts, and track your accuracy against friends, family, or colleagues across every matchday.

By accessing or using TablePred you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering you confirm that you meet this age requirement. TablePred is for personal, non-commercial use only.

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your password.
• You must provide accurate information when registering. You may not impersonate another person or use a misleading display name.
• You may only hold one account. Duplicate accounts may be removed.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may delete your account at any time from your Profile settings. This immediately and permanently removes your account and its data. If you'd rather have us do it for you, email support@tablepred.com.

P1 and P2 predictions

Each season you may submit a P1 prediction before the season starts and, during the January window, a P2 revision. Predictions lock at the deadlines shown in the app. Locked predictions cannot be changed.

Scoring

Points are awarded automatically based on the accuracy of your predicted final table position compared to the actual final standings. Scoring rules are described on the How it works page. We reserve the right to adjust scoring rules between seasons with reasonable notice.

Results

Standings data is sourced from third-party providers. While we take care to ensure accuracy, we cannot guarantee that standings are error-free or updated in real time. Scores are for entertainment purposes only — no monetary prize is attached.

• When you create a Huddle you become its admin. As admin you are responsible for the conduct of your Huddle.
• Invite codes are shareable but should only be distributed to people you trust. You can close your Huddle to new members at any time.
• By default, Huddle content (predictions, Hot Takes, polls, comments) is visible only to members of that Huddle and is not publicly indexed.
• Community Huddles are a separate, opt-in category created as public and discoverable. Their content — including predictions, Hot Takes, and polls — is visible to any visitor, including people who are not signed in, and the Huddle is listed in our public directory.
• We may remove or suspend a Huddle that violates these terms.

You may post Hot Takes (short text opinions), comments, and emoji reactions within your Huddles, and separately within the Terraces (our public prediction pool). By posting content you:

• Confirm that you own or have the right to share the content.
• Grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display that content as part of the service — to Huddle members only for private Huddle content, or publicly for Community Huddle and Terraces content.
• Understand that Huddle admins may remove content posted within their own Huddle, at their discretion.
• Understand that we may remove content anywhere on the service, including the Terraces and Community Huddles, that violates Section 7 (Acceptable use).

The Terraces is public by design — no account is required to post there, and content posted in the Terraces (including Hot Takes) is visible to any visitor. We may also feature Terraces content elsewhere on the site, including the marketing homepage.

Moderation

Content may be removed by the admin of the Huddle it was posted in, or by us, without prior notice, where it is abusive, hateful, threatening, harassing, or otherwise breaches Section 7. We do not guarantee that you will be notified when your content is removed, or that any record will remain visible where the content used to appear.

Where content is removed through moderation, we retain a copy of it — together with basic details of when and why it was removed — for up to 90 days, solely to review moderation decisions, investigate complaints, and enforce these terms. It is permanently deleted after that period. This retention does not apply to content you delete yourself, which is removed immediately.

You agree not to use TablePred to:

• Post content that is hateful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or discriminatory.
• Post spam, unsolicited promotions, or commercial advertising.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, its servers, or another user's account.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the service without our written permission.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without prior notice.

All software, design, graphics, and original content on TablePred are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.

TablePred is an independent fan project operated without official affiliation. It is not affiliated with, associated with, authorised by, or endorsed by any of the football leagues or clubs featured on the platform, and is not in any way officially connected with them or their governing bodies. All football league names, club names, crests, and related identifiers are trademarks™ or registered® trademarks of their respective holders. Their use on this platform is purely descriptive and for the purpose of operating the prediction game — no sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement is implied.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the service without our prior written consent.

TablePred is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

Prediction scores are for entertainment only. No monetary value or prize is associated with any score or ranking.

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, TablePred and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed €50.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

TablePred is a free service supported in part by advertising. By using the service you acknowledge that:

• Advertisements may be displayed within the app, including on the dashboard, Huddle pages, and marketing pages.
• Ads are served by us directly or by third-party advertising networks. Third-party ad partners may use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.
• We will always seek your consent before enabling interest-based (targeted) advertising.
• You agree not to use ad-blocking software or browser extensions in a way that interferes with the service's core functionality. We ask this in good faith as advertising revenue helps keep TablePred free.
• We do not endorse the products or services advertised by third parties. Advertisers are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their own advertisements.

TablePred uses Google OAuth for sign-in. Your use of Google's services is subject to Google's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party services linked to or integrated with TablePred.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will give reasonable advance notice of significant changes where possible. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if the service is discontinued. Upon termination, your right to access the service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including sections 7, 8, 9, 10, and 15.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
